Palestinian president reaches out to Israel, backs talks

RAMALLAH, West Bank (AP) — Palestinian president reached out to Israel on Thursday saying he opposes near-daily Palestinian attacks on Israelis and suggesting the violence would stop if the defunct peace process resumes again.
