US Prosecution Agrees to Halve Sentence of Russian Accused of Spying

US prosecutors have agreed to halve the sentence they are seeking in the case against an employee of Russia's Vnesheconombank, Evgeny Buryakov, who was indicted last February on charges of gathering information in the United States for Russia’s intelligence service, the bank said in a statement published on its website on Friday.
