High treason case opened against ex-chief of Vinnytsia regional police trying to escape to Russia

The former chief of the Ukrainian National Police department for the Vinnytsia region, Anton Shevtsov, has been detained as part of a high treason criminal investigation, Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) spokesperson Olena Hitlyanska has said.
