Parliamentary elections in Armenia may be unprecedented in 2017, Armen Rustamyan, head of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation/Dashnaktsutiun, told journalists on Friday.
Candidates will be chosen only through party lists for the first time in Armenia.
Rustamyan thinks that the concept 'stable majority' has become more democratic.
In his opinion, the fixed number of opposition MPs, who will make up at least one third of the total number of the National Assembly members, is one of achievements.
He also thinks that equipment today leave no room for rigging election results.
As another factor preventing forgery, he pointed out organization of election on a single identification document, even if it needs additional expenses. -0-----
