B.C. Liberals rehire executive director who’s facing charges in Ontario

VICTORIA — Premier Christy Clark’s B.C. Liberal Party has rehired its executive director, who is facing criminal charges in Ontario. Laura Miller stepped down from the party job in December after being charged with breach of trust and mischief for an alleged role in the destruction of emails in Ontario’s gas-plant scandal. She has yet to go to trial.
