​Newcastle announce Rafa Benitez as new manager

Newcastle United have announced the appointment of Rafa Benitez as the Club's new manager following the sacking today of Steve McClaren after just nine months at the helm.

The former Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid boss joins the Toon on an initial three-year deal.
