Woman taken into custody after stealing police car and crashing it into dollar store

A woman was arrested early Friday morning after allegedly crashing a police cruiser into a dollar store on East Hastings Street. The Vancouver police vehicle is believed to have been stolen at 1:30 a.m. while an officer was responding to a call at Columbia and East Hastings in the Downtown Eastside.
