'Captain America: Civil War' Director Joe Russo Says Movie Influenced By 'Se7en' & 'Fargo,' Plus New Posters

Set to be the longest Marvel movie to date, the upcoming "Captain America: Civil War" will be crammed with familiar faces from the MCU, and some newcomers in Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Spider-Man (Tom Holland). But one character you won't see is the villainous Thanos, played by Josh Brolin, who last made an appearance, very briefly, in the post-credits sequence of "Avengers: Age Of Ultron." The filmmakers have wisely decided he the character be a jarring addition to the already crowded picture, whose concerns are very much Earth-bound. 

"...we've got so much cosmic-ness waiting, we are more than happy to keep it waiting. Because, you know... 'Civil War' is such a grounded argument, that you don't want to go, [whispers] 'Actually, that's not very important because there's a space man coming.' We all know there's a space man coming, but it's going to blow this argument out of the water if you bring it up. So all that has to stay far enough...
