Rising motor premiums boost annual profits at Shelia's Wheel owner esure, but pricing website GoCompare sees profits fall

The Surrey-based car and home insurer saw its pretax profits jump 29.7 per cent to £82.9million in the year to the end of December as the cost of car cover continues to rise after years of leaner times.
