BYU holds off Santa Clara’s one-man gang in WCC tournament

Santa Clara’s Jared Brownridge scored 30 points Saturday in the quarterfinals of the men’s West Coast Conference basketball tournament against Brigham Young. But the Cougars shut down Brownridge’s teammates and put five players in double figures en route to a 72-60 victory at Orleans Arena.
