Person shot in South Loop

A person was shot early Sunday in the South Loop. The male, whose age was unknown, was shot about 3 a.m. in the 100 block of East 11th Street, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, but additional details were not immediately available, police said.
