Two killed in crash near Ladysmith

Two men were killed when the minibus in which they were travelling rolled and overturned on the N11 between Ladysmith and Newcastle.

Durban – Two men were killed when the minibus in which they were travelling rolled and overturned on the N11 between Ladysmith and Newcastle.

ER24 spokesman Russel Meiring said that a further four people had been injured in the accident. One of those was critically injured.

According to Robert McKenzie, spokesman for the KwaZulu-Natal provincial Emergency medical service, the crash happened near the turn off to Dundee.

The reason for the minibus rolling is not known. Mckenzie said the minibus was not a taxi.

The injured were taken to hospital and authorities are investigating.
