Mysterious Signals From Space? Telescope Intercepts Strange Radio Bursts

Fast radio bursts (FRBs) are sudden energy spikes in the radio spectrum originating somewhere in space. What causes these signals - which are sometimes picked up by astronomers' radio telescopes- is not yet clear.
