Alisson Becker targeted by Inter after Juventus interest in Liverpool goalkeeper
After links with Juventus, now Inter are also reportedly considering a swoop for Liverpool and Brazil goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
It is no secret that the Nerazzurri are seeking a new goalkeeper, as Yann Sommer is 37 years old and his contract only runs to June 30.
Inter see Alisson Becker return to Serie A
The first choice would be current Tottenham shot-stopper Guglielmo Vicario, but there is another intriguing option from the Premier League.
According to the Repubblica newspaper, Inter are also looking at Alisson’s situation, considering he speaks fluent Italian and has a history in Serie A with Roma.
The 33-year-old joined Liverpool in 2018 for a massive fee of €72.5m, just two years after Roma had paid €8m to buy him from Internacional.
His current contract at Anfield only runs to June 2027, so a return to Serie A is entirely possible this summer.
Juventus were already mentioned for the Brazil international, though Inter can fit the bill too.
Alisson would be considerably cheaper than Vicario, whose asking price at Spurs is in the region of €25m.
