Tennessee football fans shouldn't be divided on Joey Aguilar | Adams

Not all fans want Joey Aguilar to return as Tennessee football’s quarterback next season. That’s what I’ve gleaned from emails and sports talk shows. And it’s a bit puzzling. I realize Aguilar didn’t finish the 2025 season as well as he started it. I also understand fans’ fascination with “Who’s next?” Since the Vols have two heralded quarterback recruits on their roster, there’s an expectation that freshman George MacIntyre or incoming freshman Faizon Brandon could be the next big thing in Tennessee football. I don’t subscribe to that line of thinking, though. “Can’t miss” recruits at this position...
