Reports: Rangers signing veteran RHP Jakob Junis to 1-year deal

The Texas Rangers are adding veteran right-hander Jakob Junis on a one-year, $4 million contract, according to multiple reports Sunday night.

Junis, who began his career as a starter with the Kansas City Royals in 2017, worked exclusively out of the bullpen in 2025 in Cleveland. He was 4-1 with a 2.97 ERA, 18 walks and 55 strikeouts in 66 2/3 innings over 57 games i
