BROOKINGS — In a four-game losing streak that has altered the course of South Dakota State’s football season, Saturday was different for one simple reason. It was the clearest example of the Jackrabbits beating themselves. Illinois State had no problem taking advantage of SDSU’s brutal start to the Senior Day home finale at Dykhouse Stadium that saw the scoreboard at 28-0 after 15 minutes, with Illinois State running 31 plays for 156 yards in that time and turning three de-facto Jacks turnovers into 21 points.
