Damian Lillard is one of the best shooters the NBA has ever seen. Playing him in a shooting contest for nothing feels like a losing battle for almost anyone.
Now, think about playing him in a shooting contest for $100,000. That’s got to be even more daunting than usual.
Not only did a fan play Lillard at the NBA All-Star game, but he beat him.
Mr. Beast made an appearance at the All-Star game during a break in the action with a little game for a fan.
All the fan had to do was make one long-range 3-pointer before Damian Lillard could hit three of them.
So what did he do? He got it done.

Look. I know the NBA is supposed to be making the game more about basketball moving forward.
And, to be honest, I hate challenges like this. It’s a Pros vs. Joes competition, except for the Joe in this case is an innocent kid who doesn’t irrationally think that he’s a better shooter than Damian Lillard because of that one high school basketball game where he made three 3-pointers in a row. Dangling $100,000 over that kid’s head like that just doesn’t sit right with me, personally.
With all that said? I’m extremely glad he got this done. Shoutout to Damian Lillard for missing those last few shots.
