Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury face off in a rematch of their fantastic fight from May to headline this week’s boxing action!

Tuesday, Dec. 17

DAZN, 7:00 pm ET, Holiday Fight Night 3. Kurt Scoby and Andy Dominguez are the most familiar names on this event from New York, which bravely or foolishly dares challenge the Tuesday night boxing territory that’s become the exclusive domain of...

TrillerTV+, 8:00 pm ET, CountryBox: Where Music Meets Boxing. What hubris, what chutzpah, what audacity for anyone to even think about horning in on CountryBox: Where Music Meets Boxing! I had a horrifying reminder of my own boxing degeneracy when I saw 1-13 (1 KO) Demonte Cherry on the lineup and immediately knew I’d seen him before, but couldn’t figure out where. Turns out, he was on the inaugural edition of CountryBox: Where Music Meets Boxing that we covered live back in February of 2023. Cherry’s fight against Iegor Plevako couldn’t get sanctioned, and was demoted to an exhibition. I might have properly learned differential equations, but instead I accidentally devoted my brain to remembering crap like this. Anyway, your Music for this edition is Rodney Collins.

Thursday, Dec. 19

DAZN, 10:00 am ET, Usyk vs Fury 2 - Press Conference. The fight week festivities really kick off with skirted folding table and podium sass-talk. Fury’s natural gift of gab and Usyk’s weirdo oddball energy mean this is likely a more worthwhile viewing experience than the average press conference.

Friday, Dec. 20

DAZN, 12:00 pm ET, Usyk vs Fury 2 - Weigh-In. All the fighters you heard give generic answers to formulaic questions the day before, but with less talking and more awkward standing around in underwear. Bad Left Hook may have live updates

Saturday, Dec. 21

DAZN PPV, 11:00 am ET, Usyk vs Fury 2. The heavyweight rematch is finally here! Usyk won all the belts back in May by split decision in a fantastic, dramatic fight. There’s one less belt in the mix since the IBF stripped theirs rather than allow the immediate rematch, but the matchup is still fantastic and all signs point to yet another electric show. Undercard took a pair of hits with the losses of Israil Madrimov and Dennis McCann, but this one is all about the main event anyway. $39.99 gets you the big show, plus Serhii Bohachuk and Johnny “The Romford Bull” Fisher, among others. Bad Left Hook will have live team coverage
