Fantasy football defense rankings, Week 15: From elite (Ravens) to streamable (Texans)
You’ve got your fantasy football lineup all but set for the week, with a few tweaks to be made here and there as Sunday’s slate of games is ready to kick off.
But you’re trying to optimize your lineup to make sure you get the most points. And that’s why you have to make sure your D/ST position has the best possible squad to win you the week.
That’s what these rankings will help with: A look at the elite, solid, and streamable options that could win you some virtual games in your league.
Let’s break down the Week 15 D/ST tiers:
Elite
1. Baltimore Ravens (at Giants)
2. Washington Commanders (at Saints)
3. Denver Broncos (vs. Colts)
4. New York Jets (at Jaguars)
5. Minnesota Vikings (vs. Bears)
Some of the strongest teams in the NFL gets to face the league’s absolute basement. In Minnesota’s case, it gets a Bears offense it’s already faced once this season. Washington, meanwhile, gets to come off a bye week and face a Saints team down Derek Carr. The New York Giants are turning back to Tommy DeVito — the less said there, the better.
Solid
6. Philadelphia Eagles (vs. Steelers)
7. Kansas City Chiefs (at Browns)
8. Los Angeles Chargers (vs. Buccaneers)
9. Arizona Cardinals (vs. Patriots)
10. Green Bay Packers (at Seahawks)
The Eagles and Steelers game should be a defensive battle. The same goes for the Chargers-Buccaneers and Packers-Seahawks. Arizona should be able to hold its own with one of the worst offenses in the league coming to town.
Streaming Options
11. Dallas Cowboys (at Panthers)
12. Pittsburgh Steelers (at Eagles)
13. Cleveland Browns (at Chiefs)
14. Houston Texans (vs. Dolphins)
15. Atlanta Falcons (at Raiders)
Can you trust any of these defenses on a weekly basis? Probably not. But these are the matchups you can feel good about if you need a quick fix — yes, even the Browns against Kansas City.
