Tyson and Yun make weight for rematch!

0
In June we got one of the craziest fights of 2025 as Tyson Koki (16-6-3, 13) [王杉康輝] dethroned hard hitting Korean fighter Deok No Yun (8-2, 6) [윤덕노] in a sensational 1 round shoot out to become the new WBO Asia Pacific Super Middleweight Champion. Tomorrow in South Korea the two men will face off for the second time, with Yun looking to recapture the title in front of a home crowd, and Tyson looking to repeat his win, this time in enemy territory.

Today, ahead of the bout the two men took part in their weigh in for the contest. On the scales Tyson, who looked in great condition and seemed very confident, was 167.8lbs, whilst Yun was just over 167lbs.

Notably for Tyson this will be his first bout outside of Japan, and we do wonder whether he will have the same success away from home as he’s had in his homeland. In Japan he has won the OPBF Middleweight title and the Japanese title at Super Middleweight, as well as the WBO Asia Pacific title. As for Yun, his loss to Tyson, at Korakuen Hall, was his second loss on the road, following a loss in 2019 in Australia to David Drapac, and he is actually unbeaten, with a 6-0 (5) record in his native South Korea.
