Georgia title odds surge as Ohio State remains favorite after 3rd College Football Playoff ranking

As the Southeastern Conference’s elite teams continue to cannibalize each other, sportsbooks appear less and less sure about which team is actually a threat to win the national championship.
After moving the Georgia’s title odds to longer than 10-1 following a loss to Ole Miss in Week 11, the Bulldogs are right back in the mix with the third-best odds at 5-1 entering the third College Football Playoff rankings reveal.
Yet the top two teams remain unchanged. Ohio State (+320) is still the clear favorite, though it’s down slightly from +300 last week. Oregon (+450) also dipped slightly from +350 in Week 11.

As far as which teams will make the Playoff, BYU is no longer a consensus favorite to join the field of 12 following a Week 12 loss to Kansas. Meanwhile, Boise State is now -300 to represent the Group of Five in the postseason.
