Fantasy football defense rankings, Week 11: From Elite (Lions) to streamable (Bears)

0

You’ve got your fantasy football lineup all but set for the week, with a few tweaks to be made here and there as Sunday’s slate of games is ready to kick off.

But you’re trying to optimize your lineup to make sure you get the most points. And that’s why you have to make sure your D/ST position has the best possible squad to win you the week.

That’s what these rankings will help with: A look at the elite, solid, and streamable options that could win you some virtual games in your league.

Let’s break down the Week 11 D/ST tiers:

Elite

Kim Klement Neitzel-Imagn Images

1. Detroit Lions (vs. Jaguars)

2. San Francisco 49ers (vs. Seahawks)

3. Miami Dolphins (vs. Raiders)

4. Minnesota Vikings (at Titans)

5. Denver Broncos (vs. Falcons)

A lot of extremely good defenses at home against some very not good quarterbacks. Minnesota is technically on the road, but it’s not like Will Levis has an advantage regardless of where he plays.

Solid

6. Pittsburgh Steelers (vs. Ravens)

7. New York Jets (vs. Colts)

8. Baltimore Ravens (at Steelers)

9. Green Bay Packers (at Bears)

10. Los Angeles Chargers (vs. Bengals)

Only once since in their last six matchups have the Ravens and Steelers combined for more than 31 points. Hammer that under here.

11. New Orleans Saints (vs. Browns)

12. Cleveland Browns (at Saints)

13. Chicago Bears (vs. Packers)

14. Los Angeles Rams (at Patriots)

15. Cincinnati Bengals (at Chargers)

The Bears’ defense isn’t completely garbage, but the Packers have a way of making them look like it so best to hold your breath if you gamble with Chicago. The Rams and Bengals would be ranked ahead if they were at home.
