Galaxy's Gabriel Pec named MLS Newcomer of Year

LA Galaxy forward Gabriel Pec was named the 2024 MLS Newcomer of the Year on Monday.

The 23-year-old Brazilian collected 16 goals and 14 assists in 33 matches (30 starts).

The All-Star helped the Galaxy make the MLS Cup Playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference.

Pec received 37.53 percent of the votes from media, players and team technical staff. Inter Miami CF striker
