Thunder's Late Surge Beats Clippers, OKC Now 6-0
The Oklahoma City Thunder went on a 24-6 run from late in the third quarter into the fourth quarter and beat the Los Angeles Clippers 105-92 on Saturday night at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
The Thunder improve to 6-0 for the first time since the franchise went 6-0 in Seattle in 1998-99.
The Thunder had six players in double figure scoring, including all five starters, led by 25 points from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Luguentz Dort had 16 points and Jalen Williams 15 points.
Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe both had 12 points, with Joe making four three-pointers and Wiggins two from beyond the arc.
Both players hit a pair of three's during that decisive run in the fourth quarter.
Chet Holmgren had a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds.
The Thunder hit 16 three's as a team and forced 20 Clipper turnovers.
OKC concluded their weekend road trip and will return home to host Orlando on Monday night at 8:15 pm.
