Cricketer Shakib fans protest in Dhaka ahead of home test series against South Africa

Dhaka [Bangladesh], October 18 (ANI): Fans of Shakib Al Hasan, a Bangladeshi politician and cricketer, have gathered outside Mirpur Cricket Stadium in the capital Dhaka on Friday to protest ahead of the home test series against South Africa.

Sakib flew from the United States to join the Bangladesh team but cancelled the trip to Dhaka while he was in Dubai due to security concerns.

Shakib officially joined the Awami League
