The Yellow Jackets squared off against the Duke Blue Devils in their last outing, winning 24-14. The Tar Heels are coming off of a loss to the Pittsburgh Panthers by the score of 34-24. Against the Blue Devils, Haynes King led the Ramblin’ Wreck with 167 yards on 23-of-31 passing (74.2%) for two touchdowns and no interceptions. He also carried the ball 12 times for 30 yards. Jamal Haynes carried the ball 19 times for 128 yards (6.7 yards per carry). He added three receptions for 12 yards and one touchdown. Malik Rutherford led the receiving charge against the Blue Devils, catching eight passes for 76 yards. Jacolby Criswell’s showing for the Heels against the Panthers included 24-of-45 passing for 269 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions. Hampton carried the ball 23 times for 106 yards and one touchdown. He caught three passes for 16 yards. Nate McCollum registered 128 yards through the air after 10 catches (on 13 targets).
