The Golden State Valkyries have officially named their first head coach in the team’s WNBA existence.

Las Vegas Aces assistant coach Natalie Nakase has been hired to lead the Valkyries, one of the recent expansion teams in the WNBA.

Nakase brings with her extensive basketball experience as a player and coach, most recently working with Becky Hammon and the Aces.
