Emma Raducanu has £125,000 Porsche ‘taken back’ by car manufacturer three years after incredible US Open win
EMMA RADUCANU has had her beloved Porsche “taken back” by the luxury car manufacturers, reports suggest.
Raducanu, 21, burst onto the scene three years ago when she won the US Open at the age of 18.
The Bromley star has since signed a series of lucrative sponsorship deals with the likes of Dior, Evian, HSBC, Vodafone and, of course, Porsche.
The latter led to her attaining a £125,000 911 Carrera GTS Cabriolet, with a top speed of 192mph, which was her pride and joy.
Raducanu has been a big Porsche fan since childhood as one of her first tennis coach would always show up with one of the famous brand’s sports cars.
According to The Mail, however, the childhood dream of owning one of the company’s swankiest vehicles may have reached its final destination.
One of Raducanu’s associates reportedly said: “Emma no longer has a Porsche.
“They took it back. It used to have pride of place at her home.”
And it seems that Porsche have also confirmed the rumours that the tennis star is no longer in possession of one of its vehicles.
A spokesperson reportedly said: “While we do on occasion loan Emma a car, this is very much on an ad hoc basis.”
The famous brand is well known for swiftly withdrawing its cars from celebrity ambassadors.
Especially if they feel the arrangement is no longer achieving value for money.
However, the same sources claim that Raducanu remains in her role as ambassador.
The spokesperson reportedly added: “Emma Raducanu is a global brand ambassador for Porsche and there have not been any changes within our successful partnership since it started in 2022. We are very happy with our partnership.”
