Work together to address galamsey challenge — UN tells Ghanaians

The United Nations has urged all sectors of Ghanaian society to come together in addressing the longstanding issue of illegal small-scale mining, also known as galamsey. In a statement on Saturday, October 5, UN Resident Coordinator for Ghana Charles Abani said galamsey has had devastating economic, social and environmental consequences for the country.
