On October 4, 28 years ago, Pakistan's Shahid Afridi scored the fastest ODI century at the time, needing just 37 balls against Sri Lanka. His aggressive innings included 11 sixes and powered Pakistan to 371 for 9. Afridi's record was eventually broken by Corey Anderson and later by AB de Villiers.
