The 8 most anticipated video game releases remaining in 2024 (Dragon Age: The Veilguard!)

Hoo boy, the year 2024 really did fly by, didn’t it? (Yeah, I’m trying to compartmentalize it.)

With the holiday season now on the horizon, I thought it would be fair to take a look at the remaining major video game release calendar over the rest of the year. After all, once the leaves finally turn and it gets crisp and cold outside, there are few things better to do than cozying up with a lovely gaming experience on your couch.

Note: This is not an all-out comprehensive list. If I missed something you’re looking forward to, I did not mean it as a personal attack. (Be nice! This is subjective!) It’s more a general, encompassing look at upcoming major games I deemed worth playing and/or trying through the rest of 2024 before the ball drops on January 1. This is also NOT a ranking. It is in the chronological order of the releases all the way through the end of December.

Nonetheless, from beloved horror callbacks to enriching open-world fantasy gameplay, hopefully, there’s something here for everyone.
