Xavier Edwards hits 3 triples, sparks Marlins past Blue Jays

Xavier Edwards had four hits, including a major-league-record-tying three triples, and four RBIs to help the visiting Miami Marlins defeat the Toronto Blue Jays 15-5 on Friday night.

Jonah Bride added a two-run home run and a solo shot for the Marlins (60-100). Griffin Conine added a solo shot inthe opener of a three-game series.

Ernie Clement homered, and Alejandro Kirk went
