Everton reach agreement for club sale with US owned Friedkin Group

LONDON, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- The US company, 'The Friedkin Group' has agreed to buy Premier League club Everton, two months after originally pulling out of a deal to buy 94 percent of Everton owner Farhad Moshiri.

The agreement looks like ending the off-field instability that has handicapped Everton in recent seasons, with several takeover deals falling through.
