Reign loan D Sofia Huerta to French team

The Seattle Reign have loaned top-notch defender Sofia Huerta to Olympique Lyonnais of the Premiere Ligue in France through June 2025, the team announced Thursday.

The team didn't release the loan amount it received for the 31-year-old Huerta, who was a member of the United States' Women's World Cup team in 2023. Huerta pushed for the opportunity to play overseas.
