All the TV action kicks off on Thursday when the ITV crew will be live on ITV4 from 1.30pm to 4.30pm with five races from Donny including the feature Betfred Park Hill Fillies’ Stakes at 3.35pm.
The richest race of the day, however, is the £400,000 sprint for two-year-olds at 2.25pm which could throw up a whole host of future talent.
Friday sees coverage start at the same time on the same channel but features a bonus race from Salisbury.
The stayers take centre stage that day with Donny’s Group 2 Doncaster Cup over 2m2f set to feature big names such as 2-1 fav Sweet William, Gregory, Trueshan and Coltrane at 3.35pm.
But the race before, at 3pm, couldn’t be more different.
Some of the world’s fastest horses will thunder down the track at speeds of over 40mph for the aptly-named Flying Childers Stakes.
All that does though is whet the whistle for the incredible punting extravaganza on Saturday and Sunday.
There will be seven live races on ITV1 in three hours of coverage starting at 1.30pm on Saturday.
The Group 1 St Leger – the final Classic of the season – is the headline act at 3.45pm where 13-8 fav Illinois will look to bag trainer Aidan O’Brien another big one.
Templegate will bring you all his tips, verdicts for every race and Placepot selections, where you can win a lot from a little without picking a single winner!
Two races from Chester complete the ITV action – but make sure you hop over to Racing TV at 3.25pm for the star-studded Irish Champion Stakes.
Economics takes on Auguste Rodin, Los Angeles, Ghostwriter and Japanese raider Shin Emperor among others in a colossal Group 1.
The action doesn’t stop at Donny on Sunday either with ITV hosting NINE races, including action from the Curragh in Ireland, on their man channel.
It kicks off at 1.20pm with the first race a 6f sprint from our friends across the sea at 1.50pm.
A race run in honour of paralysed former Grand National winner Graham Lee will be sure to prove popular at Doncaster at 3.45pm.
While the Curragh will have back-to-back Group 1s from 3pm, including the big Flying Five for sprinters and the Moyglare for the best two-year-old fillies 35 minutes later.
Incredibly, that’s not all, as Sky Sports Racing will be showing more top class action from France – where there will be huge Arc clues on show.
Long-time ante-post favourite Look De Vega takes on second-fav Sosie – and former Derby hope Ambiente Friendly among others – in a seismic Prix Neil.
Expect some major market moves in the ante-post markets on what will prove a giant weekend for all the big races next year.
