pSharapova is just one of 10 women to achieve a career Grand Slam. Among her 36 singles titles, Sharapova won the WTA Finals in 2004, defeating Serena Williams in the final. Sharapova held the WTA World No. 1 ranking for 21 weeks./p

pTo be elected to the Hall of Fame, candidates must receive an affirmative vote of at least 75 per cent or higher from the combined total of the Official Voting Group result, and any bonus percentage points earned in the Fan Vote. The top three candidates in the Fan Vote will receive added percentage points to their vote totals from the Official Voting Group, with first place earning three percentage points, second place two percentage points, and third place one percentage point./p

pThe Class of 2025 will be announced in October, with Hall of Fame induction celebrations scheduled for August 21-23, 2025 in Newport, Rhode Island./pp
