Even Aaron Rodgers’ Former Teammates Think He’s Gone Wacko
Chicago Bears fans have had many reasons to hate Aaron Rodgers over the years, but most of that was reserved strictly for what he did on the field. However, the future Hall of Famer found a way to take things to the next level by becoming even more unlikable as a person. According to many reports, he isn’t the greatest teammate, often putting his own priorities ahead of the organization. The New York Jets are finding that out the hard way. For another, he’s an avid conspiracy theorist who loves spouting disinformation that can be potentially harmful to people.
Last but certainly not least, he champions a lifestyle of drug use, believing it expands the mind in ways people can’t comprehend. One would think if anybody is ready to defend Rodgers as a person, it would be Clay Matthews. The former All-Pro edge rusher won a Super Bowl with the quarterback and was teammates for ten years. However, it appears even he doesn’t think too highly of Rodgers these days.
Matthews’ dig paints a clear picture of Aaron Rodgers.
Some will disguise it as a playful dig. In reality, Matthews makes it pretty clear he sees the quarterback as a joke. This idea of getting high and going on spiritual journeys is ridiculous. That should tell you how little respect even his former teammates have for Aaron Rodgers these days. It’s no wonder he seems desperate to have a great year in New York. Rumors have persisted that Rodgers feels like his legacy, which seemed spotless at one point, is starting to crater. Once considered the greatest quarterback alive, people are starting to question if he’s even the greatest quarterback in Packers history. He’s certainly not winning awards for his personality or life choices.
