AN OLYMPIC gymnast has gone viral for eyeing a different kind of fling.
Brazilian bronze medalist Flavia Saraiva added a new twist to her routine and sent hearts leaping – by going on Tinder.
Fans raved after spotting her profile on the free dating app.
The 24-year-old wrote she is looking for “nothing serious, but it depends”.
It comes just weeks after she helped her country finish third in the women’s artistic team all-around event at Paris 2024.
She famously competed with a black eye after falling on the uneven bars practicing for the finals.
But now she’s swapped a shiner for seeing how many Tinder users take a shine to her.
It might well be a phenomenal figure – maybe not far short of the number of people who attend the carnival in her home city of Rio de Janeiro!
Flavia’s description of herself on the popular app also intrigued fans.
Writing in Portuguese, she at first pointed out what must surely be her unique attributes.
Flavia noted she was “an artistic gymnastics athlete, Olympic and world medalist”.
However, she then opted to add “tanned” and a “good person”.
Well, she’s certainly “bronzed” after her efforts in the French capital…
Fans on social media joked they’ll upgrade their Tinder membership to ensure they match with the former World Championship silver medallist.
Others moaned light-heartedly that, if such a glamorous sporting star was using the app, they themselves would have no chance of attracting a date.
One posted: “What can we say about mere mortals who use more than 3 or 4 dating apps at the same time and still haven’t found anyone?”
A few fans reckoned she was “crazy” to join such an app – or maybe too busy competing and training to meet anyone.
However one spoke for many by claiming: “Flavia Saraiva showing that she is just like us.”
