Shikhar Dhawan announces retirement from international cricket
Shikhar Dhawan, a prominent figure in Indian cricket, declared his retirement from international and domestic cricket on Saturday through a video message shared on his social media accounts. The left-handed opener, who made his debut against Australia in Visakhapatnam in 2010, had a successful career spanning over a decade. Throughout his tenure, Dhawan represented India in 34 Tests, 167 ODIs, and 68 T20Is, accumulating more than 10,000 runs across all formats. His remarkable achievements include scoring 24 centuries, with 17 in ODIs and 7 in Tests, showcasing his prowess as a top-order batsman.
