Courtois says he won’t play for Belgium while Tedesco is manager
August 23 – Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has said he does not want to play for Belgium under current manager Domenico Tedesco.
Last season, the number one and Belgian manager fell out over the captain’s armband and the Madrid star was omitted from Tedesco’s Euro 2024 squad. On Thursday, Courtois confirmed that with Tedesco at the helm, he will not return to the national team.
