Spirit of Tasmania operator fined $250 per horse, six years after polo pony deaths

A polo captain and ferry operator TT-Line were charged after 16 polo ponies died during a voyage on the Spirit of Tasmania. The case may have finally come to a close, with the operator now facing a significantly lower fine than before.
