SPORT fans have been spoilt this summer as the Paris 2024 Paralympics gets underway just over two weeks after the conclusion of the Olympic Games.

This also made Storey, 46, the most successful British Paralympian of all time (17 gold medals) and she’ll be hoping to add to her incredible collection.
Team USA also had a memorable competition as they broke nine world records in swimming and track and field.
Those world records contributed to their 104 medal count (37 gold, 36 silver, 31 bronze) putting them third in the charts behind Team GB.
But Brad Snyder was arguably the main talking point as he became the first US male triathlete to win an Olympic of Paralympic gold in paratriathlon.
There are set to be twenty-two sports with 23 disciplines and a total of 549 events distributed across 269 sessions.
Among events included in the Olympics, others are unique to the Paralympics such as sitting volleyball, boccia and goalball.
