Rays reinstate RHP Drew Rasmussen from 60-day IL

(Photo credit: David Banks-USA TODAY Sports)The Tampa Bay Rays activated right-hander Drew Rasmussen from the 60-day injured list Wednesday.

Rasmussen, who has not pitched in the majors since May 2023, will join the Tampa Bay bullpen.

The 29-year-old is returning from his third major elbow surgery in seven years.

He went 0-2 with an 8.59 ERA in five games (two starts) on a rehab assignment at Triple-A Durham.
