PARIS, Aug. 7 (Xinhua) -- The men's sprint in the track cycling at the velodrome in Saint-Quentin-en Yvelines promises to see records tumble if the qualifying on Wednesday lunchtime is anything to go by.

The first session of Wednesday morning began with the world record for covering 200 meters of the banked track at the velodrome set at 9.100 seconds by Paul Nicholas of Trinidad and Tobago and by the time the 30
