Diamondbacks place C Gabriel Moreno (adductor) on IL

The Arizona Diamondbacks placed Gold Glove catcher Gabriel Moreno on the 10-day injured list with a strained left adductor and selected the contract of catcher Adrian Del Castillo from Triple-A Reno on Tuesday.

Moreno, 24, was injured while running out a ground-ball single during the second inning of the Diamondbacks' 7-6, 10-inning road victory over the Cleveland Guardians
