ABU DHABI – Sedriques Dumas beat Denis Tiuliulin with a unanimous decision Saturday to open the preliminary card at UFC on ABC 7 at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.

Dumas on struggles coming in

“It feels great. I lost a lot coming into this fight. I lost my house in a fire when I was in Paris getting over here. I got the word my granddad isn’t going to live too long – he’s got six months to live. I missed my little girl’s birthday … it just means a lot (to win). I’ve got a lot of stuff back at home that I’ve got to get ready for, good and bad, but I’m just glad to be back in the win column.”

Dumas on what he wants next

“I’ve got a couple people I’m looking at. Me and my coach are going to get in the lab, talk to the boss man and see what we’ve got going on next. I’m just trying to keep it going.”
