Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles are forever gems in my book, and I will not answer any questions about it.

After Biles had a rough go during Monday’s beam final and did not medal, Simone only had one more opportunity to make the podium ― the women’s floor final. However, she and Jordan faced stiff competition from Brazil’s Rebeca Andrade, who made things uncomfortable for Team USA.

Andrade is a warrior who’s overcome three ACL injuries in four years, and Simone and Jordan have witnessed Andrade’s resiliency and incredible run during this year’s Olympics. After Rebeca won a much-deserved gold medal Monday (Biles won silver, and Chiles won bronze), the Team USA gymnasts wholesomely bowed down to her in a moment that will likely live on in sports glory.
