Olympics star carried off on stretcher after collapsing to ground during women’s 100m heats
OLYMPIC sprinter Lucia Moris had to be carried off on a stretcher after collapsing to the ground in agony during the women’s 100 metre sprint preliminary round.
Moris, 23, appeared to sustain an injury mid-way through the race.

As Ngoye, 30, crossed the line, medical staff rushed on to assist Moris.
After falling, she appeared to clutch at her right leg in agony.
And she was still in a heap on the floor well after the race had concluded.
A stretcher was brought on by medics and she was eventually carried off in it.
Reacting to the heartbreaking moment, one social media user said: “Prayers up for Lucia Moris hope she’ll be okay.”
While another added: “Never want to see that.”
A third replied: “Oh god I feel so bad for Lucia Moris getting injured straight away .”

And a fourth responded: “Looks like she tore a muscle or something.”
The injury came just hours into the start of the athletics in Paris.
South Sudan have not won a medal of any colour since their inaugural Olympics in Rio eight years ago.
