UFC Denver video: Montel Jackson obliterates Da’Mon Blackshear with 18-second one-punch knockout
Montel Jackson will likely be taking home a bonus after delivering the second-fastest knockout in UFC bantamweight history.
Jackson lived up to his “Quik” nickname as he faced Da’Mon Blackshear during the preliminary card of UFC Denver. The Pura Vida standout landed a piston left hand that sent the back of Blackshear’s head bouncing off the canvas, which was the beginning of the end as the fight was eventually called in just 18 seconds.

Jackson has won five straight, and improved his overall promotional record to 8-2. The 32-year-old also holds stoppage victories over Rani Yahya and Jesse Strader during his impressive streak. It was Jackson’s first appearance since April 2023, as he was scheduled to compete at UFC Saudi Arabia this past month before two different opponents withdrew.
Blackshear has now dropped two straight, and was stopped for the first time in his career.
